Professional Experience
As one of the four original employees of Healthy Buildings International, Ms. Huss has been privileged to work with the company since it’s infancy in the mid-1980s, and now is one of its senior employees.

Presently, Ms. Huss is the Director of Information Technology for HBI. She is pivotal in managing the functional departments of the HBI organization compromising: hardware, software, and network infrastructure, database development and administration, accounting, and executive reporting. In her role, Ms. Huss keeps abreast of advancing technologies to enhance the growth of HBI, as well as providing its employees a workplace where information is easily managed and communication is encouraged. She also serves as the accounting department liaison. Together these roles make Ms. Huss a central hub in the wheel the positions HBI as the leading environmental consultant in the country.

Previous to her current position, Dee created automated processes for sales quotes, job creation and scheduling, expense reporting, report consolidation and publishing, invoicing automation, and collection enhancement saving tens of thousands of dollars each year in labor costs and allowing for increased production. This in turn, provides more customers with better products at reduced cost with fast turn around times. Ms. Huss drove IT development with cutting edge technologies from inception to present day by transitioning her proprietary database as new systems became available.

Before working with HBI, Ms. Huss worked for three years with Delex Systems. Her role was document processor and graphics layout designer for projects supporting the Department Of Defense and Pentagon. Prior to Delex, she worked two years for Gruen Associates and an administrative assistant and design librarian.
