Professional Experience
Mr. Ashworth is the Director of Business Development for Healthy Buildings currently providing consulting services for indoor environmental quality and sustainability projects across the country. Mr. Ashworth joined Healthy Buildings in 2004 and his responsibilities have included business development, information technology management, contract management, and scheduling. He has extensive knowledge of sustainability, HVAC mechanical system, and indoor environmental quality as they relate to constructing and operating commercial, public, institutional, and developing opportunities, overseeing large contracts, and working with clients to meet the limited budget constraints typical of environmental efforts.
At Healthy Buildings, Mr. Ashworth develops and oversees business development activities in the eastern region of the United States including commissioning, energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality and LEED certification. Prior to Healthy Buildings Mr. Ashworth worked as a marketing engineer assisting with the design and bid documentation of industrial refrigerator equipment. Additionally, Mr. Ashworth has worked in the pharmaceutical industry through internships/co-ops specializing in product development, manufacturing efficiencies, and purchasing.
