With technical indoor environmental quality expertise addressing more than 4,400 buildings in 45 different countries, Healthy Buildings has 30 years of proven experience that is relied on by both long term and new clients alike. Building types include office, medical, educational, multifamily and mixed-use residential, institutional, and hospitality. Our success is based on solid engineering by technicians that have been with our firm for an average of eleven years and some as long as 20+ years.

In the early years, Healthy Buildings International, Inc. (HBI) specialized mainly on reactive work focused on HVAC systems. Building owners and property managers, faced with the repercussions of building related environmental problems, commissioned us to solve the problems before the situation worsened. As pioneers in this field, Healthy Buildings’ Testing & Diagnostic Group soon developed the concept of ongoing, proactive monitoring programs for indoor air quality — a concept, which is now adopted as a standard operating procedure throughout the property management and facility management communities.
Today’s building owners recognize their impact on the environment. This focus has become mainstream and of critical interest to the commercial building industry. In 2008,Healthy Buildings’ expertise expanded to address the changing green building and corporate sustainability needs as well as the technical energy & resource efficiency challengesfaced within the industry by launching our wholly owned subsidiary, Healthy Buildings Solutions, LLC.
